Who we are
The Layla Saves Lives organization was founded in 2022 in Warren Ohio. The organization serves as a resource for suicide survivors, and those who struggle with mental health. The organization aims to raise awareness and aid in the prevention of death’s caused by suicide. The Layla Saves Lives Organization supports youth, teens, adults, veterans, and the LBGTQ communities.
Our Services
Layla Saves Lives is a non-profit organization in the Trumbull/Mahoning Valley that equips people with the necessary tools for their toolbox. We connect veterans, The LBGTQ community, victims of the opioid pandemic, and survivors of loss with peer support and community resources. The community is invited to plant flowers at the Inspiration Memorial Garden In honor of their loved ones.

The Layla Saves Lives organization has partnered with Grief & Loss in Motion and have started meetings that
Serve as a safe space where you can meet with people in a neutral setting
Have a No judgement zone
Meet with others with shared experiences
The meetings are a 10 Week curriculum-based support group catered towards understanding your grief and loss.

Understanding Your Grief and Loss
It all begins with an idea. Then we have to formulate a plan. You are not alone, so let’s do this together! The first meeting took place on November 25, 2024, and meetings were held Mondays through January 27, 2025, from 7pm -830pm. We are currently undergoing a few changes to better assist with the growing issues in our community. The next scehdule for these meetings will be posted shortly but expect better curriculum, better activities, and most importantly better ways to help!

Community Outreach
The inspirational memorial garden has been coming along very well. With help of the Kawai Family, Neo cap volunteers, Triyouth Kids, Menards, 3 Sons sigs LLC, Home Depot, Tractor supply , Family Farms & Homes, Garys Stump Grinding, Gilmore Greenhouse, Kings Brothers Ready Mix Concrete, a few May family members and our neighbors we have really turned what was once plots of land covered in refuge into a nice natural place to be. We have come a long way with these renovations, and it is only due to help from those that are motivated towards the brighter future we all seek. This is not the last steps but merely the beginning's. Come Join the movement and help build a brighter tomorrow for all of us!
